NJ050 Liberty Corner Fire Co.

Though this isn't a huge site, it is a very powerful site. You can't read these words without visualizing the brave Firefighters who spoke them, perhaps some of their last. The stairs are so symbolic and remind us of the stairs that were climbed that day. What really moves me most is that I climbed down those steps in Tower One, next to the brave souls that were climbing up. At the base of these steps are etched pavers with the names of people that made this memorial possible, and remembrances of those that were lost. Among these names are some friends of mine, almost like they were waiting there for me.
